This is a conversion panel that allows you to change your P38 tailgate to look like the L322 tailgate. The tailgate conversion is simply a matter of removing the light assemblies from the tailgate and then bonding on the supplied over panel that covers down to the lower ridge line (about 2 from the bottom of the tailgate). This panel is designed to take the L322 reversing lights (not supplied but available from LandRover – or see our other listings for these). The tailgate release switch remains in place. We no longer sell the rear light panel kits, so if you are planning to fit this tailgate you will need to design your own solution for the L322 rear lamps. Most people modify the P38 wings and wiring and fit the L322 rear lamps to complete the L322 look. This listing is for the fibreglass tailgate panel only. 1 x Lower Tailgate over panel molded from fiberglass designed to accept L322 reversing lamps. PU bonding compound or similar to bond on tailgate panel. 2 x Genuine Range Rover L322 reversing light units (Left PN XFD000053 and Right PN XFD000043). See our other items for these. Paint to paint the parts as required. L322 Rear Lamps – which will require wing and wiring modification. The tailgate panel is a bond over panel – no cutting needed – just remove the original lights and bond on this over panel.
