My son and I bought this early 2019 as a project, and my son’s used it for the last year, and to hone his mechanical skills! It’s a 199 P38 Land Rover Range Rover DSE manual, with 151,000 Miles. 2.5 M51 BMW Inline 6 cylinder diesel engine with 5 speed manual gearbox. Recent service and a good amount of service history. In March 2020 the gearbox destroyed itself so we bought another one and swapped it over, replacing the clutch at the same time. Earbox was on 120k and was replaced in March 2020 with a brand new clutch (500 miles on it). It’s had all the coolant hoses changed, the radiator looks pretty new as does the water pump. It’s also had new calipers and flexible hoses all round last year so brakes all good. New heated windscreen which works last year too. It’s still on working air suspension, which works perfectly, and stays sat at height. Bodywork is scabby in places, roof lining is like a billowing tent. So, to summarise, it’s been well maintained and had quite a bit of work done to it. It was an ex Land Rover vehicle when new as it’s got a few of their service stamps in it, so imagine it was an ex management car. If you need a workhorse it should be ideal, especially with a towbar.
