Here is a 4.6 V8 Turner engineering top hat liner engine removed from a Range Rover P38. I spoke to Turner engineering when I removed the engine to find out when the block had its top hat liner conversion and she confirmed that the block was re manufactured in January 2017 and had top hat liners fitted along with replacement big end and main bearings, camshaft bearings and also replacement piston rings. As you can see I removed the heads and cleaned and painted the block with Eastwoods Aluma Blast aluminium paint, fitted new water pump, new head gaskets and bolts, genuine oil filter, new core plug temperature stickers etc etc. There was no issues with this engine whatsoever and I believe it has only done around 40k miles since it was re manufactured in 2017. The rocker covers are not great but look very presentable. This is a fantastic build opportunity for someone and will be an amazing engine when fitted.
