The pictures are last years – i will get more up to date including interior wednesday 29th (not a lot has changed). We bought it around a year ago and will be very sad to see it go. It has given us no real trouble in this time and we have done 15,000 comfortable miles. It has MOT until 31/10/17. Its a 2000 2.5 BMW DSE model, the later engine with the plastic inlet which is reportedly a bit less troublesome than the earlier one. It has a private plate that will come with the car. Automatic gearbox which works correctly. Its in epsom green with bodywork overall good probably a 7/10 for the year. A small crack in the front bumper, small dent in the rear lower tailgate. The interior is cream, i think called Lightstone leather. No rips in the seats but they are not new, show their years in places but overall pretty good. The headlining was recovered by a previous owner however could really do with being re-done which is apparently quite a simple job. It has the standard radio/ 6xCD changer. In the last few months it had a new front propshaft and oil/filter change. It had the N/S/F air suspension bag replaced and comes with the other front bag as i bought a pair. A few things to note as with most P38s, id rather give an honest and full description. The onboard screen could do with a bulb being replaced which makes it hard to read in bright light. These are cheap and apparently its not a too bad job if you deemed it necessary. The drivers side wing mirror glass is missing thanks to a van in the lane recently, readily available cheaply. The suspension, although working 100% correctly (and being used 50 miles daily), has recently started dropping at the rear overnight. It pumps back up when started and doesn’t go down while driving. It needs a new rear bag and these are not expensive or difficult to change. Theres a lot of unnecessary bad press about the air suspension! The exhaust has started knocking on something underneath when starting/stopping the engine, probably just needs adjusting on a hanger. I think thats it!
