If you’ve been searching meticulously for the right P38 that will give you no problems, this is it. I’ve owned this head turner of a P38 for nearly two years and it is time to depart as unfortunately, I have to grow up, reduce my collection of cars and get onto the property ladder. I own two other vehicles so this isn’t being driven as much as it should. 4.6 HSE running on LPG. 105k on the clock. The previous owner was in his 50s, with no kids which clearly meant he had the funds to toy with the car. Having owned it for 12 years, two specialists have said this is the best P38 they’ve seen in a while (which is why I’m reluctant to sell). He clearly loved the car. The work he carried out. Sprayed the car during his ownership. Upgraded the sound system, which is outstanding. There is a subwoofer installed in the boot. Vented rear brake discs. Water pump fan belt and guide pulleys. Transfer box and rear diff oil change. Front Lower Radius Arm Bushes. Front Drivers CV Joints. What I’ve done during ownership. Brand new EAS pump. External plastic trims repainted. Brand new windscreen installed by AutoGlass. Replaced stiff driver’s door handle (part STC 3063). Comes with a spare. The car comes with misc parts, a spare EAS pump and valve blocks, a black leather steering wheel etc. I took the car to Inverness and back (1000 miles), and the car did not skip a beat. Mods that I’ve done. Gave it a stock look. The previous owner had added chrome trims, which I removed. The car came with L322 wheels, which I also removed and replaced with the 18 Hurricanes. Painstakingly replaced the beige interior to black. The car will show small signs of age, which is expected, but this genuinely runs well. I implore you to pop down for a visit, where I can showcase the car well. As with all P38s, there are some minor electrical gremlins that you could investigate. The fuel gauge doesn’t work but a full tank lasts around a year. The braking system functions fine. Gave me no problems driving to Scotland. The rear doors lock manually. Sunroof no longer works. Alongside with the heated seats and cruise control.
