1999 Range Rover P38 4L V8 on LPG Reconditioned 4.0l V8 engine fitted by ACR around 11,000 miles ago – I have the receipt GasItaly sequential injected LPG system (the car is on the LPG register) with tank in spare wheel well 112,000 miles MOT until September 2019 Cream leather interior in very good condition, just the usual wear for a 20 year old car. Tow bar with single electrical socket (3.5t max braked towing capacity – more than enough for a caravan, horse box etc). Recently used it to rescue a dead L322 Range Rover, this pulled it like there was nothing there. Aftermarket stereo fitted Air suspension on manual fill valves with option of returning to fully auto or converting to springs (I have the spring kit I removed from this car, which I can supply in sale) High and low range gearboxes work. Recent gearbox oil filter change and fluid flush Lots of service history 2 keys This is an extremely comfortable and luxurious 4×4 and drives very well for a car of its age. Four wheel drive will no doubt be a valuable asset with winter on the way again too. The P38 Range Rover is well on its way to being considered a classic car with the increase in value that brings. The only things I have found which don’t are the seat heaters and the heated windscreen Being a nearly 20 year old Land Rover, there are of course some points which will need attention which are: Minor oil leak from rocker covers. I think I’ve solved this by tightening the bolts but new gaskets will be supplied to fit. Glove box lid is jammed shut, storage is still available in the door pockets and center cubby box though. Advisory on last MOT for N/S lower ball joint dust cover and brake pipes at the rear being greased.
