2.5 BMW 6 cylinder diesel Auto. 1996 model MOT until March 2019. Metallic red with alloy wheels, nudge bar and headlight grilles. Bodywork in good condition for age. Grey leather interior with dark piping, electric windows, mirrors and sunroof. Usual Range Rover refinements – cruise control, heated windscreen, A/C, heated seats. Aftermarket Sony head unit and CD changer fitted. Range Rover still has air suspension fitted which still works. Detachable towbar fitted too – factory item – I’ve never used it but tow ball is in the boot. The car has had a stainless steel exhaust system fitted, with twin tailpipes on either side. Automatic gearbox and hi/lo transfer box work as intended. A small list of know faults it is a P38! Blower control inside temperamental – but works on the demist program fine. Drivers window sticks at the last 2 inches of travel upwards – hold glass back to put all the way up. The lower part of tailgate occasionally doesn’t open – solenoid operates but catch does not open. The spare wheel is missing. The headlining has a very slight sag, not visually noticeable until touched. The P38 is an ideal winter runaround or for tucking away as a prices continue to rise on these appreciating classics.
