Range Rover P38 168,500 miles. This car will be cleaned inside and out before collection. I bought this as a runnng daily project. I have used it as a daily car and had many happy miles in it, but alas due to covid I now have to sell it. The pictures were taken before cleaning! It will be shining for you when you view (recomended). Its a stunning deep red metalic colour that shines up superbly well. The black plastic trim also comes up superbly, there is NO rust on the body at all (not even the usual tail gate rust areas) Underneath is a little rusty but not mentioned on MOT’s. Its just had the front ball joints done for this years MOT (11 months left on it) and has 4 great tyres on it (all 4 new this past year and not many miles done due to lockdowns etc). The interior is stunning, cream leather that is still supple and no cuts or tares at all.. The drivers seat is worn but with TLC can look good again, The roof lining is still fully in place with no signs of the usual sagging at all! It has a factory fitted electric tilt and slid sunroof that is fully working and no leaks what so ever (I know I cant believe that either but it hasnt). The wheel rims (included) also come up stunning! With only very minor marks no dents or chips… The sat nav screen works but there is no DVD in it so not functioning as sat nav.. The radio cd player is aftermarket but in full working order.. The speakers are awesome and standard harmen gordon fitted in the car from new. As I said I before it as a runnng on the road project.. I have had a lot of the ” Usual” P38 issues sorted.. Air suspension romoved and brand new springs put in, New brakes and Discs ALL ROUND. Ball joints as mentioned, It Had a new water pump fitted three months ago and was noted ” could do with a new fan ” but this has not been changed yet. Its an Auto box and changes gear correctly, parks and stays in place etc etc.. No knocks or clunks. V5 present and correct. No HP etc etc. The heater works but leaks and needs the seals replacing (I have the seals but no time to fit) this is no issue as long as the water is topped up regular. Once a week i do it.. (if you dont it does get the usual air lock) however if topped up no airlocks or over heating. The BMW straight six runs fine, with no knocks etc and does not use oil… However it seems to lack power so test drive recomended! My mechanic thinks its the turbo not producing boost no smoke out the tail pipes though?? This issue has been resolved! I was informed it could be a pipe from the fuel pump to the fuel rail that had come off? I checked this and did indeed find a small split in the pipe. This was near to one end and that section of pipe has now been removed and the pipe reconnected, A short test drive and I can confirm it now has FULL power again! So this is no longer an Issue (21.1.21). She would make a superb donor car particularly as most of the usual P38 issues are already sorted, or if yyo have a donor, to add the parts to this one it could really be a stunning car! Font prop shaft removed (by previous owner) never been an issue running at 2 wheel drive.. better fuel economy too! Two key fobs (both need the rubber inserts renewing,) but car central locking, locks and unlocks as it should with the buttons. TEST DRIVE WELCOME AND RECOMMENDED. Cash or bank transfer on collection. Or stop the aucton. You will need to collect the vehicle! It does drive, but would not recomend more than 45 mins drive due to the low power and not being 100% sure of that cause.. I have tried to describe the cars condition fully and accuratly as I can, but viewing is recomended! THIS IS A perfect MIKE BREWER wheeler dealer type project!
