A very reluctant sale but upgraded to an l322 so its no longer viable to keep two! The car has valid MOT until 27th September. 130,100 miles – relatively low for the age. The engine and automatic gearbox are sweet and run like a dream. It is lovely to drive and starts first time every time without fail. Has been converted to springs so no unreliable air suspension. The air con has been recently regarded and is icy cold and lovely in this weather! Now for the honest truth… The car is almost 18years old! The body work is not mint. I have tried to picture the cosmetic bad bits. The heated windscreen no longer operates, try and find me one that has the original screen of this age that works! I only have one key and the buttons dont lock or unlock the car. You have to lock it and unlock it manually. The directional motor for the fan inside the dash doesnt work so the hot/cold air only comes out of the main vent pointing towards the passengers. Only really makes a difference in winter where it takes slightly longer to defrost windscreen as it has to heat the cabin first. The heated seats dont work. The cruise control doesnt work. Wing mirror need mirror putting back in and housing is slightly damaged. Front brake pads need replacing asap! They are grinding so i wouldnt advise driving it far. Thermostat on dash doesnt work. I have a bluetooth odd diagnostics device that i plug in and then use this to check coolant temperature. It never goes over 92-93 degrees. This obd reader will be included in sale. There is a water leak in the coolant system. One of the main pipes above the thermostat is leaking a lot of water. When the car is driven it keeps all the water but as soon as the engine is warm and you turn the engine off a lot of coolant leaks out all over the floor. See pic, leaks from pipes around thermostat. I went to get a wheel alignment as steering wheel isnt centre when driving and apparently steering box has slight play. It doesnt bother me and drives well so just left it and it never got worse. Roof lining has sagged so i stapled it back up. Again another p38 common problems. I have been as honest as possible. The car has been so reliable for me… Even if i have to fill it up with water every time i go somewhere. Will do anything you throw at it, it just needs some tlc!
