1999 Range Rover P38 4.0 V8 – British Racing Green – 121,900 Miles. For sale is my Epsom Green P38 1999 Range Rover with the 4.0L V8 Engine, which is the best and most reliable of the P38 V8s. Currently on 122,000 miles. MOT expires 2025-11-11 so months left. All four suspension bags are working, and the air suspension is working exactly as it should-no issues there (video available). No electrical gremlins at all-central locking, air con, climate control, and the key all work perfectly. I’ve had it for about six months now and put around 5,000 miles on it. It’s been absolutely solid-no overheating issues, which can be a problem on the P38’s, although usually on the 4.4’s and 4.6’s not the 4.0’s. Just did a road trip down to Cornwall and back, and it never went over the recommended reading. Plenty of tread on all four tyres, which are all-terrain. 4-speed automatic gearbox is perfect-no over-revving or delayed shifts. It’s got hill descent control, low range etc and everything works as it should. Bodywork is in very good condition, with a few very minor marks and scratches as expected for its age. No rust that I can see-chassis and usual trouble spots all look absolutely fine. Full service history, mainly with main dealers or Land Rover specialists. No ticking or knocking, oil levels are spot on (haven’t topped it up since I’ve had it), and the gearbox is in perfect condition. This is genuinely an absolute peach of a car and will be an absolute joy for whoever buys it. More photos and videos available, and test drives can be arranged.
