I spent a long time looking for a good 4.6 P38 on lpg and finally found this great vehicle….. She has covered under 100k and was a very cosseted toy when owned in japan. LPG means she works out similar in cost to a car returning 40mpg on petrol/diesel… Far better than any diesel p38/defender… Correctly registered on the V5 as a dual fuel vehicle so no back street bodged conversion. Gorgeous silky smooth 4.6 V8, she purrs until you hit the loud pedal. Running a dual chip Tornado motorsport ECU… Full ECU not just a bodged in chipset, look at their site for prices if you want a shock lol, stainless exhaust sounds great with a V8 growl Full leather, electrics, dual Hi/Lo autobox works perfectly, head gaskets done and receipt to prove Aftermarket Grill and later 18 alloys (x5), tinted privacy glass, body is in excellent shape thanks to the years she spent in the japanese climate. New hi output alternator Minor Issues: Drivers door interior handle doesnt work….. Disconnected wire but havent got round to removing the door panel in 9 months lol rear tailgate button sticky common issue when connectors get dirty and needs a blast of electrical contact cleaner air suspension compressor U/S , i fitted bypass valves which are great but I will let the new owner have the secondhand compressor and valve block I bought but havent got round to fitting MOT till december and no doubts she will fly through again….. If you want to see how good its been through the years just look up the MOT history….. Yes its not as luxurious…. Doesnt have any toys… Good P38’s are starting to shoot up in price again and there are an awful lot at 7-10K even without the gas conversion… Any questions just message… Car is located near Helston Cornwall (TR12). Tried to show the small blemish on the bonnet but its hard to actually see… The only small rust spots on the lip of the tailgate are shown next to a pencil tip for size (tiny) but wanted to show them.
