For sale is my much loved Range Rover P38 DSE 2.5 Automatic. I bought the car 19.7.06 at 94000 miles. Since then I have covered 34500miles, now at 128500 miles. In that time I have renewed. Suspension compressor, All air bags(OEM). Viscous fan , Heater matrix O rings, all deisel leak off pipes, Two injectors, Cyclinder head gasket kit, Exhaust, Brake discs all round, pads & sliders, NGK glow plugs x 5, Varta blue dynamic battery. In the last year or so. Viscous fan, Radiator, Water pump, Draglink & Track rod set, Two new front tyres , Tracking done by land rover strathearn engineering, Front & rear diff oil change, Automatic gearbox Dexron 3 fluid replaced with gasket & filter, Hot cold start module fitted, etc. I know I’ve missed alot out due to the time i’ve owned her. It starts & drives well. However, it has developed a coolant issue. I was told this was caused by a faulty thermostat which has been removed from the car but not replaced. It does require a new cylinder head gasket according to forums , Gem 4×4 S strathearn engineering spesialist who know my rangie. Due to ill health I can no longer carry out the work needed to get her running properly again. So, Ive decided to let her go. Hopefuly she’ll go to some body who can carry out the the work to allow her to become a collector classic which was my intention. The price i’m saking for is a realitic price considering what’s been spent over the years & her overall condition. The car is nearly 18yrs old & so has issues expected for a vehicle of this age. Deffinately worth a look if you’re after an interesting project for a future classic of fun & luxury. All the photo’s are clear enough for you to see the over all condition of the car in & out. Air con has never worked in my ownership, All the heating operates fine, apart from the dvr side floor heater doesn’t go cool which will be down to a sticky / faulty blend motor.
