It’s design uses a bolt-on towball and can be used with accessories such as bumper guards and tow-steps. The bolt on nature of this towbar means a range of couplings such as standard 50mm towballs, Alko towballs or pin, ball and jaws can be attached to the face plate. On some commercial vehicles that offer a 4 hole or 6 hole face plate the towball height can be adjusted. Cycle carriers can be fixed behind the coupling of this style towbar allowing for a towing facility and cycles to be carried at the same time. Our universal wiring kits can be installed in nearly every vehicle. The kits can transmit signals related to the tail lights. Because these are analogue signals, a universal wiring kit cannot be programmed and can therefore not connect to the on-board computer that controls the car electronics. Fixed swan necks lose the versatility of the flange type but gain a sleeker fitment, are less likely to trigger sensors and look better to suit. Detachable towbars are similar to swan necks but can be removed fully when not in use maintaining your vehicles appearance. Guarantees proper operation of reversing sensors. 7 Pin (12N) provides your basic lights except for reverse and is ideal for bike carriers, trailers and caravans where power feeds are not required. 12S and 13 Pin provide an ignition switched and permanent power feed in addition to reverse and is primarily used for caravans.
