LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER P38. RADIO CASSETTE PLAYER CD CHANGER CONTROL ANTENNA DIVERSITY. VERY GOOD /// MINT CONDITION!! Any questions – please ask. If you would like more images – please ask. Date of manufacture : 1999. Anti-theft code card + trim plate + original mounting frame (part no: 300 9550) supplied. The radio pictured is the radio you will receive : Serial Number CR0154W0034223. PLEASE NOTE Its common for the LCD screen to fade (due to age) – The part is now obsolete. These systems are rare in this condition. If you see a faded grey / clear screen (walk away) — With the power turned off the screen should be shiny + jet black. The radio is “Totally Passive” – This means it has no internal amplifier – The output is low as it uses external amplifiers in the doors of the vehicle + boot to produce hi-level sound. This makes it really hard to replace with aftermarket product – so again making it very sort after & ideal if you want to keep things original. I made up a test lead & ran the unit through a small 2 channel amplifier – it sounds as good as it looks (see pic 12). Comes fully serviced – Tape heads cleaned + set. There’s 2 locking pins missing from the trim plate The trim still locks into place fine (nice + tight). All model + serial numbers are kept on file.
