This is a listing for an early 1995 RR P38 4.0 V8 Auto with the GEMS engine. The car is being offered for spares or repair as it has no MOT and has been standing for a few years. The car starts and drives and the engine is good. The air suspension compressor has been bypassed but you can manually lower and raise the car on a valve block under the bonnet and the air suspension system is still in good working order. The car is definitely a project and it definitely needs cleaning up but P38 prices are on the up and spares are plentiful and cheap so all in all, a worthwhile little lockdown project for someone. The car requires the logbook applying for as the existing one has been mis-placed by the previous keeper. Whilst I endeavour to send out good usable parts, it should be understood that for most old LandRover spares, there is an element of wear and tear, dirt and grime and maybe on occasion small defects. Very smart looking car. My wife has been driving it for years. MOt till October 2018. Photos show interior lining on pillars has been scratched, probably by someones dog. It was like that when we bought it. Excellent bodywork and no rust underneath. 4 near new tyres. All in all worth getting it back on the road. Mot’d till August. Runs, starts no problem, has got diesel knock (engine knock) (it is 21yrs old) gearbox is good. Front prop has broke so will need a trailer, cannot drive, declared SORN. Usual issues as expected for age: v small oil leak (typical for RR), headliner, small rust patch (on photos), radius arm needs new bushings (provided) with a bit of work will have a great RR, interior is in good condition, no rips, body work is good (apart from the little rust shown) good condition underneath.
