Hi & Thanks for looking at my P38 for sale! It’s a 2.5 diesel auto in blue with cream leather. It’s covered just over 137k miles and has literally just had an oil service & a health check at my local Land Rover specialist (Newbury 4×4) with invoice to support – completed on 25th August 2020. It had the following work completed. Re wire a pre existing start button. New front prop UJ. New front wiper blades. Replace leak off injector pipes (common for going brittle & leaking). Top up PS fluid. Check all coolant pipes – I’ve replaced one of them myself as it’d just got old & split, so I had them check all others as well. Their other comments mentioned that steering components look to be recently replaced & renewed. The chassis and body is in excellent shape, with only the lower rear boot hatch showing any signs of corrosion! It’s had about 3 days worth of detailing & paint correction all together, including wet sanding the paint work, and a 2 stage machine polish to bring the paintwork & colour back to life. It isn’t concourse, BUT it looks great for it’s age, and the paint looks deep in colour again! Where the bonnet & rear bumper were once faded, they’re now the right colour again. The brake discs & pads have recently been replaced, and the tyres are all showing excellent levels of tread. The air suspension has been removed and springs have been fitted, so there are no potential problems with this in future! The vehicle also sits approx 1 higher than normal. Inside is relatively clean and tidy. It has 1 working remote key, 4 x electric windows & electric mirrors. It drives really well, the engine isn’t particularly powerful but it pulls well and chugs along fine. The transfer box makes a little noise on deceleration, I have had this checked by the same specialist who carried out the service & healthcheck. It could do with the bonnet painting (due to lacquer peel) and the rear lower tailgate painting too. The previous owner’s done a pretty terrible job at repairing the sagging headlining (they’ve stapled it up), but it’s functional so I’ve not done anything with it in my ownership. The V5 is in my name at my address. Viewings welcome with a bit of notice, as I’m out of the house working most days.
