Range Rover P38 4.6 v8 HSE in stunning Rioja Red. (Mot until Feb 2019) (Went Straight Through). Price reduced due to my new Range Rover arriving. I have painfully decided to sell my Rangie, having owned this for a few years and having had the engine totally rebuilt, gear box major service, rear diff and front Axle serviced (should last for years now). This is a truly amazing beast, very strong and solid 4×4, as you can tell by the pictures how good it looks for a 20 year old motor. I wouldn’t hesitate to take it to scotland and back, its been the most reliable 4×4 I have owned in my 30 years of driving them. It drives really well, gears all smooth, Hi/Lo works perfectly and was used and enjoyed during the snow earlier this year, no oil leaks or water leaks, no smoke either, i’ve had some work done to the exhaust system so now you can hear the beautiful V8 rumble. 4 new tyres recently. For the age its in good condition. Its not without its minor faults and being honest they are considered as minor, occasionally the air bag light comes on and I mean only occasionally (Very likely the cables under seat) has a small car park ding which has been touched up on drivers side rear quarter panel, occassionally the interior heating resets itself (Interior/exterior sensor self adjusts) Heating works fine! The roof headlining is starting to sag at the rear a little bit. The car still has all the air suspension which works fine, if vehicle is left for days at a time it can take a min or two to reach comfort height but usual on these cars, has always been this way and not bothered me, (Lazy Compressor but still works) The car is 20 years old and these minor issues are to be expected but all easily solved. All in all I have loved every moment of owning/driving this 4×4, it still looks beautiful in what I think was the best colour available (Rioja Red). Any other questions please just ask, not interested in any time wasters or sales calls this is a genuine solidly built 4×4 with low mileage. Mot’d till August. Runs, starts no problem, has got diesel knock (engine knock) (it is 21yrs old) gearbox is good. Front prop has broke so will need a trailer, cannot drive, declared SORN. Usual issues as expected for age: v small oil leak (typical for RR), headliner, small rust patch (on photos), radius arm needs new bushings (provided) with a bit of work will have a great RR, interior is in good condition, no rips, body work is good (apart from the little rust shown) good condition underneath.
