Y reg 2001 , p38 vogue. 142,694 miles on the clock 11 months MOT. Please check mot history. Car in good condition with new coil packs , spark plugs , HT Leads, recently fitted. Engine in good working order , she pulls like a train on gas even better on petrol , gearbox smooth in operation(had oil change 6 months ago),, Brakes and exhaust in good condition to. Body work exterior, in very good condition apart from a scuff (not dented)on rear off side and a small area of paint flaking up on the roof. Interior also in excellent condition, no rips on leather seats at all. Tyre’s and brakes in good condition. Car is in daily use so mileage will increase. There is some issues though, as its a p38!!!!!!! Air suspension system works fine but on two occasions iv’e had to clear the fault on the computer as the christmas tree lit up , Don’t know what the issue is there at all.. Cleared the fault and all ok. Slight oil leak from the engine. Passenger door has lost its electrics (power locking and window doesn’t work, as doesn’t the powered mirror). Heated seats don’t work and aircon (might need a service) just never used it. Very occasionally i have had to top up the coolant. I believe it’s those pesky o rings on the drivers side heater hose as the carpet was slightly damp. Sun roof leaks slightly. Heater lcd display is not fully displayed. CD mutichanger and subwoofer doesn’t work. A very slight wobble at 68 mph (not 66 or 70). All the above faults are common on p38 , but to be fair none is a great issue to resolve. Please message if you need more info. I have 2 keys but only use one key to open and lock the doors. If she doesn’t hit the reserve price i will keep hold of the p38. Range Rover P38 county. Lower spec model so not as much to go wrong. Full grey leather seats with no rips or tears. Roof lining replaced so no sagging. Non sunroof model so no leaks. New wheel hubs/bearings and brake back plates. Engine top end rebuild with new gaskets, water pump and much more. Fully working air suspension. Not used every day. Good motor that needs a new home. For much regrettable sale is my Range Rover P38a. I have owned this car since July 2016, but have known the car and the last 2 owners for over 6 years. It is a modified off roader which has been very reliable. It is a 1996 Range Rover 4.6 HSE Petrol V8 Automatic with LPG installed. The car was painted 2 owners ago in satin black, this is so that when scratches occur while laning, you can cheaply cover them. Although 1 side and the roof of the car are still Epsom green and need a coat of satin black painted on to them. It has a cream leather interior, front seats are heated and electric. 4 x Electric Windows. Dual Zone Climate Control. Heated Front & Rear Screens. Harmon Kardon Stereo System. (Stepper Valve Needs Replacing). Long Range Twin LPG Tanks in the spare wheel well. (Bolted to the car, easily takes the weight of people). New Battery last year. Hi and Low Range Work Perfectly. Custom Exhaust Professionally Fitted. Facelift Clear Indicators on the Front. Most components apart from the air bags for the suspension have been left in place so could easily be converted back if that is what the new owner wants to do. 4 New Tyres in 2016. Brand new genuine Fusebox was fitted professionally after the old Fusebox failed (common fault). Head gaskets were done as a precaution in 2015, New Viscous Fan fitted in 2016, and the engine set up is unusual as the engine is the Factory GEMS engine, but the cooling system including radiator etc… From the THOR engined Range Rovers has been fitted giving the system a better more robust cooling system as it was improved for the later Range Rovers which had the THOR engines fitted. The roof lining material has been removed but the backing is still in place. MOT expires 25th August 2018, 1 rear brake pipe and tinted rear lights were the only advisories. There are a couple of faults that I know of, the manifold gasket has started blowing slightly. Passenger front door central locking works to unlock but not lock the car, there is a break in the wiring loom or loose connection on the door and the door card is currently in the back of the car because I replaced the old central locking motor and minor dents over the top of the drivers door from the previous owner taking it off roading. I hope this goes to another enthusiast. I had it insured on a classic vehicle policy as it is classed as a modern classic now so very cheap to insure. And even just on petrol, is quite reasonable to run considering the size of the engine. However I cannot justify and cannot afford to keep 3 vehicles on the road just for me and I have to sell this one. Leather is in good condition for the age and mileage. (Pump seized and has a shorter belt fitted). Dual Zone Climate Control. (Works but disconnected due to custom roof rack). Heated Front & Rear Screens. Harmon Kardon Stereo System. (Stepper Valve Needs Replacing). Long Range Twin LPG Tanks in the spare wheel well. (Bolted to the car, easily takes the weight of people).
