WE HAVE BEEN DISMANTLING P38s FOR AROUND 11 YEARS AND ALL ENGINES ARE TESTED THE BEST WE CAN BY DRIVING THEM AND RUNNING THEM FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME. IF AN ENGINE IS UNTESTED IT WILL SAY IN THE DESCRIPTION. I WILL HELP ANYBODY WHO NEEDS IT BUT DONT TAKE ME FOR A MUG AS IT WONT HAPPEN. Here is a complete 2.5 diesel engine removed from a 1997 Range Rover P38. I drove this back to my unit over 40 miles away and it drove absolutely fine. This is a good replacement engine. Here is a complete 2.5 diesel engine removed from a 1999 Range Rover P38. This engine has been removed from a customer of ours vehicle and the engine ran extremely well with no issues at all. So basically the engine is spot on but will require a replacement injector pump from your own Range Rover or you may be able to do something with this one but I have no idea whats hes done to this pump.
