My Range Rover p38 for sale. I have owned it for 9 years and done many miles in it. Its had a solid flywheel conversion and an uprated alloy radiator. It was tweaked many years ago by Jeremy Fearn and goes far better than most 2.5 diesels. Its had the headlining removed and it has had a service every 6k and recently all gearbox and axle oils changed. Its been a very good machine in the last 80k that I have done in it. Bad points are the temp gauge doesnt work, it never has. And the clutch is noisy on idle since Ive had a solid flywheel conversion. I even had the pressure plate swapped but it was just the same. 1996 range rover p38 blue very reluctant sale but its time for the old girl to find a new home. In the last month its had a new fan and in tank fuel pump but after picking it up and taking for a drive its developed a EAS fault air suspension an easy job if you have the know how. This car runs drives ands stop perfectly and changes gear well. It will need to be trailered/recovered as its sitting on bump stops or again if you can put the air back in it will drive away no problems. Since my ownership i have spent lots on it including around 500 for its mot in september. Its also had a brand new battery and starter motor and exhaust full service and new back brakes and two folders of reciepts and history from over the years. Its not perfect the drivers seat has slight wear the hevac a bit hit and miss and a good hoover would be great but. Overall a great car with potentional and its worth 500 just for the tyres. Would consider a swap for running mot’d car. No test drives wasters dreamer etc. Priced to sell quick as need to replace as soon as.
