This Limited Edition Range Rover Bordeaux P38 MK II 2.5 Diesel Automatic (the BMW engine) is in absolutely stunning condition and has been lovingly restored and serviced. This is one to keep and one for the discerning eye. These are going to be going up in value as the next collectable. 1998 p38 Range Rover Limited Edition Autobiography Petrol &LPG

Here is my 4.6 v8 Range Rover P38. I have owned my p38 for just short of 4 years and had no major issues at all with it and it has never left me stranded! The car is a 20 year old car and not that pretty now, but solid and has an amazing sounding engine and better still its on air suspension. Lpg system is all fitted, but i havent used it for at least 12 to 18 months as i have not driven more than 20/25 mile trips in the last 1 2months. Autobiography walnut trim and beige leather interior, the roof lining is sagging alot im afraid and it has recently developed a leak into the drivers foot well again which is the stupid o-rings from the heater matrix. The private plate is not included and has been put back onto its original plate R878 DBP. This is a project so please dont expect an immaculate car. A rare opportunity to own a piece of Range Rover history. For sale is my RR P38 LIMITED EDITION 4.6 Automatic. I have owned the car since 11th June 2015. Since I’ve had her I have done extensive maintenance and updates. I believe if refurbishment wherever feasible; i have used many of the readily available refurb kits from good suppliers. Updates / changes include. Only ever got 65-70 litres in depending on the temperature when filling up. Tank is in the spare wheel well. Spare full sized wheel lives in the garage and is included. All four suspension airbags changed. Refurbed suspension air pump. Replaced one air line. Emergency suspension inflation kit installed. Terrafirma shock absorbers all round. Central locking / alarm remote receiver updated to get 3 (no draining and false opening you will have read on the forums). Replaced seats with correct colour for the car (full set of door cards too to come with the car). 4 General Grabber ATR2 tyres (Lots of tread). Front and rear hubs replaced (incl bearings). Rear twin exhaust replaced. Centre silencer pipe replaced with stainless steel straight through pipe (grumbles, not shouting exhaust). Headlining replaced (black) – no. Sunroof serviced (drainage, grease etc). Uprated drilled & slotted front discs, Mintex pads. Refurbished brake pump & relay. New brake pressure sphere. High capacity aluminium radiator (used on racing V8s) so no overheating issues. New viscous fan coupling. New genuine RR light guards (Front & Rear). Brake lines replaced (recently, see the MOT). MOT till 11th July 2019, one advisory. Nearside Front Lower Suspension component ball joint has slight play 5.3.4 (a) (i) have not done this, just so you know. Engine Oil & Plugs changed every 5000 miles. Diffs, gearbox and transfer oils changed on schedule. New Water pump changed on schedule (will come with a new pump for service). Cabin filters changed on schedule. Power steering fluid change. Bushes changed (mix of poly & original LR rubber). Kenwood DAB+ Radio (runs the full DSP Karmon Hadron sound system) original radio will come with the car. Original Sat Nav remains installed and works. Interior lighting is LED, puddle and foot well are blue, rest are white. Quality Blue mats (front & rear). Rubber Load liner with tailgate foldout protection. 2 keys – one on the blink. Wheels are OK, straight and true, some minor marks (no kerning) would benefit from a refurb. Pile of receipts and history from the first owner onwards. So, whats left to do. There are a couple of minor marks on the off side rear quarter panel and a white satin on the black off-side rear lower window trim (see pics below). Undermeath is in good condition too. Due for a waxoil before the winter. As you would expect from a 213000 vehicle, a few horses have escaped. She runs and will happily cruise as you would expect, but, there are fewer horses than when she came out of the factory. I had intended to rebuild the engine and have been finding and stocking various parts over rte last 18 months. Spares / replacements and other items include the following. Bottom end bearings – boxed. New Rocker arms, springs, shafts, bolts. All engine gaskets and seals. Carbon fibre look interior dress-up kit. Stainless steel Radiator grill kit. Spare n/s headlight lens unit. Hawkeye code reader, reset tool (invaluable). Assorted bits n pieces – there may be other items, i will update when i dig them out of the garage. I will add pics to this listing too. In short, lack of space. We have several other vehicles and not enough space to get them all at the house after a recent house move. Apart from a trip to the MOT shop, she has stood since October last year. I would love to keep her – she was my daily driver for 2 years and was great. However, I have an L322 as well so something has to go, JLO lost the vote. I prefer you to come and see the car as there will be things that i have missed and the information i can tell you. This P38A Range Rover is one of the Bordeaux Limited Editions built for the 2001 Model Year. 200 were made for the UK to celebrate over 30 year of range rover production. They has Alveston Red paint, bumpers, sills, mirrors and red highlights in the Pro-Sport alloy wheels. The seats are Lightstone Cream leather with red piping and red carpets were fitted. It has a 4.0 V8 Petrol version, that only 100 were made in patrol form.. It is a Really clear car with only very small age related marks, small dent to the rear see picture but overall very clean inside NO rips or tears in the leather seats, CD player, electric windows, all the luxury you expect from a high end luxury car. Tyres are all good, breaks and are good work as they should, engine runs very nice no knocks, bang’s or rattles and pulls nicely. Gearbox or clutch problem goes into gear but won’t drive. For Sale is my Range Rover 4.6 Vogue SE Limited Edition in Rioja Red with Walnut Leather and Lightstone piping. This is one of 30 that Land Rover produced in this colour combination as a limited edition in 1999. It was based on the 4.6HSE. Produced right at the end of the 1999 model year, just in time to catch the V – prefix registration numbers that were issued from September 1. Four metallic paints were available, the exact colour distribution being fifty in Java Black, forty in Epsom Green and thirty each in Oxford Blue and Rioja Red. They are easy to distinguish because of the Vogue SE tailgate decal badge. All had body-coloured bumpers, sills and wing mirrors, with twin silver coachtlines below the side rubbing strip. The wheels were 18in Hurricane alloys. The upholstery was in Walnut leather, with matching door pulls, automatic gearshift knob and handbrake grip. Seat piping and other interior hardware were in contrasting Lightstone, but the Ash Grey steering wheel of the donor 4.6HSE was retained. Additional wood trim was fitted on the HEVAC panel, the instrument pack and the switch pack surround. This model history was taken from the definitive book by James Taylor – Range Rover, The Second Generation first published in 2004. It was first registered on 28-10-1999 with 5 previous owners. It has only covered 93,071 miles from new. The mileage unlikely to increase significantly as I do not use it as a daily driver. It is in fabulous condition and includes the following. Rioja Red metallic paint with colour coded bumpers, sills and wing mirrors. Factory fitted walnut leather with lightstone piping interior. Drivers two position memory function seat.
