This listing is for an EBC Rear Brake Kit – Ultimax Discs & Greenstuff Pads EBC Ultimax Brake Discs – Ultra Quiet Sport Slotted Brake Rotors. The narrower multi-slot design and the progressive angle at which the slots are machined creates a quiet running sport rotor that still has the benefits of removing gas, dirt, water and debris and maintaining parallel pad wear. However please note: the trick is to opt for a matched set of brakes and not to just expect a slotted rotor to improve braking on its own. When used with higher friction EBC Redstuff, Greenstuff or Yellowstuff brake pads, these rotors will deliver a better braking performance. EBC Greenstuff has once again pushed the performance barriers of organic friction materials. The latest version of Greenstuff brake pads are a deliberately softer compound to improve pedal feel on lighter cars at lower speeds. This has resulted in a medium dust material with good lifetime and minimal rotor wear. Tests at the UK MIRA Motor Vehicle Research Institute have shown Greenstuff to stop a car almost 20 feet quicker than original parts on a popular hot hatch braking from 60 MPH, offering a huge 15% brake improvement.
