They get worn out and tired with age resulting in very low air flow and pressure. When it fails the suspension will cause a fault and the suspension will drop right down to the bump stops. This is a a new replacement Dunlop air suspension compressor complete with new air filter, fitted plug, to plug straight into existing wiring and complete with anti vibration rubber mounts. This is a straight swap and a very easy job to change. It is worth inspecting the wiring plug on the vehicle for corrosion and overheating as a failing compressor can cause problems with the connector. Always clean the connector before fitting a new compressor.
